In 2013, Mostafa Awaid received his MSc in Systems and Biomedical Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt.
From 2006 to 2013, Mostafa worked as a Researcher Student then Lecturer Assistant in Biomedical Engineering Department at Higher Technological Institute, Egypt.
From 2013, Mostafa was a PhD student in “Technological Innovations and Techniques Applied to the surgical science” program at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
In 2014, he joined Health Involved Technical Engineering Group (HiTEg); he worked on the Data Glove wearable sensor under the supervision of Professor Giovanni Saggio.
His interests include Speech Recognition, Electronics, PCB Design, and Analysis of Human Motion focusing on Human Upper Limb movements Analysis.
He is currently working on a system characterization for capturing the movements of human upper limb at the BTS Bioengineering Lab (PTV) with CAPTIKS system.
