Motion Analysis

Motion analysis is one of the areas in which the HITEG group is most involved and engaged.

The systems developed in our laboratory are used in many application fields including the medical and security ones.

Glove System

It is a sensory system able to identify and measure hand fingers articulation movements with extreme accuracy and reliability. In addition to having high performances, the system we developed is also easy to wear and does not obstruct hand movements in any way.

Kneepad System

The kneepad system, in the same way as the data glove for hands, is able to return the angle of flexion of the knee joint with extreme precision. It is easy to wear and suitable for any anatomical configuration.

Body Motion

Although the group is more focused on the hand and knee joints, the movements of the rest of the body are studied too. In particular models were created for the analysis and the bending of the trunk.
