HITEG (Health Involved Technical Engineering Group) is a research group at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”



deals with bio-engineering and related mainly to:


design and characterization of wearable sensors
sensors interfaces
human kinematics measurements
sensory glove
gesture classification
Brain-Computer Interface (BCI)
Human-Machine Interface (HMI)
virtual and augmented reality
advanced 3-D graphics


Established in 2007, the group is actively involved in several research projects ┬áin collaboration with both other academic groups (department of Experimental Medicine and Surgery, …) and external companies (Inail, Italian Space Agency – ASI, …).

Hiteg activities are supported by a laboratory provided of the most useful electronic instruments and software.
