HITEG (Health Involved Technical Engineering Group) is a research group at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”

deals with bio-engineering and related mainly to:

design and characterization of wearable sensors
sensors interfaces
human kinematics measurements
sensory glove
gesture classification
Brain-Computer Interface (BCI)
Human-Machine Interface (HMI)
virtual and augmented reality
advanced 3-D graphics

Established in 2007, the group is actively involved in several research projects  in collaboration with both other academic groups (department of Experimental Medicine and Surgery, …) and external companies (Inail, Italian Space Agency – ASI, …).

Hiteg activities are supported by a laboratory provided of the most useful electronic instruments and software.
